Asian Music Chart – August 2013

It’s time for a new month’s Asian Music Chart! What have you been listening to lately? Maybe Justin Timberlake‘s “Take Back The Night”? Or One Direction‘s “Best Song Ever”? But if you’re not so keen on Western songs, this might just be the right article for you. We’ll share with you here some of the most popular songs in Asia this July and August. Get in this post and enjoy these latest music videos!

f(x) is finally making a comeback this summer with their catchy single “Rum Pum Pum Pum”. All the girls in the group are looking fabulous with their new hairstyles in this music video. “Rum Pum Pum Pum” is actually one of my favorite songs this season. If you haven’t heard of Amiaya, it’s a Japanese duo of twin sisters Ami and Aya. So now you know why their group name is called Amiaya. And If you think SNH48 is a Japanese group, I’ll have to correct you because SNH48 is one of the newest Chinese girl groups and “SNH” stands for Shanghai.

Have you visited our Facebook page yet? You may have noticed that I’m a big fan of EXO. So also feel free to check out both the Korean and Chinese versions of EXO’s latest single “Growl”. This is another catchy song in this August MV list; it has a decent choreography and, unlike many other Korean music videos, it was filmed using the “one-take” technique without editing. Anyway whenever you have time, watch and listen to these MVs and tell us if you like any or all!
