Asia’s Next Top Model – New Show

Asia’s Next Top Model, the latest adaptation of the hit reality TV show “America’s Next Top Model”, is set to be launched towards the end of 2012. Hosted by Nadya Hutagalung, the new show has begun its casting process back in March this year, and is reported to be produced in Singapore. Voted one of “Singapore’s Top 20 Most Influential People” by CNN, Nadya Hutagalung is a well-known celebrity and former supermodel/VJ/presenter/actress. Fashion director Daniel Boey, photographer Todd Tyler, and model Joey King will take secondary roles as judges of the series. Several Asian countries have launched their own adaptation of the hit show hosted by Tyra Banks, including China, Korea, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam (see related pictures and videos below).

To qualify to compete for Asia’s Next Top Model, applicants must either reside in an Asian country or have an address in an Asian country. Models must be female, between the ages of 18 and 27, speak and understand English.
