1. River of Murder (aka Bloody Innocent/Salinui Kang)

Plot: In 1985, Seung-Ho and Dong-Sik are best friends at the same middle school. They both have a crush on Myeong-Hee, who doesn’t have the same feelings for either of them. One day, the two best friends make a bet to find out what’s on Myeong-Hee’s mind. But the next day, Myeong-Hee is found dead and raped.

2. Cyrano Agency (aka Shirano)

The Cyrano Agency consists of four people from a theatre troupe who offer a unique cupid service for lovelorn clients. Things take a strange twist when a new client named Sang-Yong enters their office. Sang-Yong has fallen for a free spirited woman named Hee-Joong, who happens to be the ex-girlfriend of the boss for the Cyrano Agency.

3. A Better Tomorrow (aka The Invincible / Mujeokja)

Kim Hyuk lives the high life as a high ranking mobster in the port city of Busan, South Korea. His closet friend is fellow mobster Lee Young-Choon. Even though Kim Hyuk seems to be on top of the world, he is haunted by the memory of leaving behind his younger brother Kim Chul and mother as they attempted to flee into South Korea from North Korea. Kim Hyuk’s mother was beaten to death and Kim Chul imprisoned after they were caught by North Korean authorities.

4. Troubleshooter (aka Trapped / Haegyeolsa)

Ex-detective and now private eye Kang Tae-Sik enters a love motel to take pictures of a couple for an unknown client. Kang Tae-Sik is then shocked to discover a bloody slain woman on the bed. Kang Tae-Sik flees the scene when the police arrive and mistakenly believes he is the killer.

5. Grand Prix (aka Geurang Peuri)

Seo Joo-Hee is an ambitious equestrian who loses her beloved horse in a racing accident and also injures her arm. She quits the sport and travels to Jeju Island. On Jeju Island, Joo-Hee meets fellow equestrian Woo-Seok, a former winner of the Japan Cup who has also experienced a similar slump. With Woo-Seok’s help, Joo-Hee becomes inspired to compete for the Grand Prix Chamionship.

6. Quiz King (aka Kwijeu Wang)

Around midnight, on the northern riverside road, a 4-car accident occurs resulting in one fatality. Now 8 people coming out of their cars have to go to the police station. When the police are trying to identify the victim, the 30th question from a quiz show giving out $1.3 million dollars is discovered.

7. Oki’s Movie (aka Ok-Heeui Younghwa)

Four stories center around the main character Oki, who is a college student majoring in filmmaking, and her upcoming film projects.

8. Bedevilled (aka Kim Bok-nam Salinsageonui Jeonmal)

In a small village on a remote island, seven people spread among five families are murdered. Kim Bok-nam is a resident in the village, a girl with innocent looks but with a dark side as well. Bok-Nam tries to run away from the island where she finds the residents to be cruel, but cannot escape. Tragedy soon awaits Bok-Nam.

9. Break Away (aka Escape)

Abandoning their military post, three soldiers escape together for different reasons. Among the three deserters, Jae-hoon escapes to see his mother who is on her deathbed from a terminal cancer, the troublemaker Min-jae escapes to take revenge against his girlfriend who betrayed him and the rookie named Dong-min escapes unable to bear the constant assaults of his seniors.

10. Enlightenment Film (aka Kyemong Yeonghwa)

Where did our age originate from? Portraying our past and the landscape of history? This film follows three generations of a family which spans from the Japanese colonial period to the present, unravelling them all within the structure of a melodrama.
